Choose one of three options to upgrade the T93 TCM for tuning/diagnostics using VCM Suite: Upgrade Service, Upgrade & Program Service, and Upgraded TCM Purchase.

T93 TCM Upgrade Options

In order to start tuning your 2019+ GM vehicle’s 8 or 10-speed transmission, its T93 TCM must be upgraded to accept tunes using VCM Suite. HP Tuners offers three options to choose from depending on your needs.

T93 TCM vehicle support includes, but is not limited to:

• 2020+ Chevrolet Camaro
• 2019-2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500/GMC Sierra 1500 (5.3L/6.2L Gas/3.0L Duramax)
• 2020+ Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD/3500HD (6.6L L5P)

*Only non-Global B vehicles

Note: T93 TCM support covers 8 and 10-speed-equipped 2020+ GM vehicles as well as some 2019+ GM vehicles (non-Global B). 

T93 TCM Upgrade Only Service

This option upgrades your original T93 TCM that is returning to the same vehicle it came from. Our expert team will perform the TCM upgrade without pre-programming it with a VIN.

Note: If you are removing the T93 TCM from your vehicle and plan to reinstall it in a different vehicle, this is NOT the service for you. Please select “Unlock & Program Service” instead.

T93 TCM Upgrade & Program Service

If you want to upgrade a T93 TCM (new or old) for a different vehicle (not the original vehicle it came from), this Upgrade & Program service will do just that. Our team will upgrade and pre-program the TCM for your specific VIN, so it’s plug-and-play—no need for the GM factory tool. When adding this service to your cart, you MUST enter the VIN of the vehicle you plan to install the TCM in.

• T93 TCM Upgrade & Program Service: $299.99
• T93 TCM License for tuning: (4) Universal Credits (sold separately)
• “Replace TCM” function in VCM Scanner is required.

Upgraded T93 TCM Purchase

Instead of sending in your original TCM for servicing, you can purchase a brand-new T93 TCM that is already upgraded and ready for tuning. This option is ideal for users who want their vehicle up and running as quickly as possible.

• New T93 TCM Purchase: $399.99
• T93 TCM License for tuning: (4) Universal Credits (sold separately)
• “Replace TCM” function in VCM Scanner is required.

Note: The T93 TCM is GM’s replacement for the T87A TCM found in GM vehicles prior to 2020.
