More fluid is always more beneficial when it comes to transmission fluid. A greater fluid capacity takes longer to heat up allowing for more consistent transmission temperatures that help extend transmission life. Cast gussets provide rigidity and the internal heat sinks wick heat and act as baffles to minimize fluid sloshing. External fins on this transmission pan add surface area and use free-flowing air to improve heat dissipation.
