If you have experienced CP4 fuel pump failure, metal shavings and contamination have most likely circulated throughout the fuel system in your Chevy/GMC. In the event of a failed CP4, it is recommended that you replace the entire fuel system, including the fuel rails, to help remove all debris and prevent any future recontamination in the fuel system.
